In the past, buying a new foundation online without going into a store to find your colour has been next to impossible.

Finally there’s a website that can help you find your matching colour in ANY foundation.

What is Findation.com?

Findation.com helps foundation users find their best match in any brand of foundation, based on the shades and brands they are currently using.

How does it work?

Findation.com uses an algorithm to recommend similar shades, based on the matches entered by other foundation users. That means they need lots of people to tell them what foundations they use to give the best shade recommendations possible.

Why do I have to enter at least two shades?

Right now, Findation is still in beta. Soon we’ll be able to recommend your perfect match, in any brand, based off just one shade. (Sign up to be notified when this happens: http://eepurl.com/m0pEH) We don’t have enough data yet to do that. But you can help us get there by entering ALL the foundation shades that are a good match for your skin – and by telling all your friends to do the same.

Enter the foundation shades that you use that are a good match for your skin. The more matches you can enter, the better.

Tips for best results:
Only tell us colours that are a good match for your skin. Would you buy that same
colour again? If not, don’t enter it.

Don’t guess, if you can’t remember exactly which colour you used. Go check the
packaging just to make sure!

If you’ve worn two different shades in the same foundation before (e.g. one in summer
and another in winter), just tell us the one that is the best match for your skin for most of the year.

If you only tell us your matches in sheer coverage foundations or tinted moisturisers,
we may not be able to give you a perfect match in a full coverage foundation.
